Beavers and Scouts make seed bombs

This week the Beavers and the Scouts made seed bombs to help improve the diversity of flora in the wildlife garden at Dorset Road Allotments.   They will be visiting the allotments to help plant a new native hedge as well as seed bomb the wildlife garden.

The Beavers are doing this as part of their My Skills challenge – to go somewhere new as well as to help deliver on some of their pledges for helping tackle climate change.

For the Scouts they will be working with a community group to deliver an environmental project. This will be their third visit to Dorset Road Allotments – they have made bug hotels for the Secret Garden and helped fund raise at an allotment Open Day.
